The Bishop will be making his visitation on 19th June and will administer the Sacrament of Confirmation. All those who are to be confirmed will need to make a sacramental confession from Saturday 15th June at 3pm, then a rehearsal at 6.30pm

The Sacraments are perceptible signs (words and actions) accessible to our human nature. By the action of Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit they make present efficaciously the grace they signify. CCC 1084

The old Penny Catechism described sacraments as ‘outward signs of an inward grace'.
